Veterans arts festival entry deadline

Friday is the deadline for entries to be submitted for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center's annual Veterans Creative Arts Festival. Entries are accepted from noon to 5 p.m., through Feb. 19, in Building 131, Level 1- Recreation Activity Room at the Lovell FHCC, 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago. The arts festival is 1 to 3 p.m. March 10, at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. Veterans enrolled for care at any FHCC facility may enter in art, music, dance and writing categories. Local artists, musicians and writers will judge the creative entries and determine places in each category.
