Pedestrian seriously injured in Naperville crash
A 50-year-old Naperville man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when he was struck by a car while crossing Washington Street at Bailey Road in Naperville, authorities said.
Police said the man was taken to Edward Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
They said the man was hit about 1:15 p.m. by a northbound red 2004 Lincoln LS driven by a 60-year-old Plainfield man,
Police still are investigating the crash and urged anyone who witnessed it to call the department's traffic unit at (630) 305-5379 or to email parcelk@naperville.il.us.
