PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Moriah Jefferson had 25 points, eight assists and eight steals to help No. 1 UConn beat scrappy Temple 85-60 on Sunday for the Huskies' 61st straight victory.

Breanna Stewart added 24 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six blocks for the Huskies (24-0, 13-0 American), who have won 101 straight games against non-ranked teams.

The Owls (17-8, 11-3) outscrapped the Huskies, diving for nearly every loose ball, and weren't intimidated by the team that beat them by 55 points a month ago. But UConn eventually pulled away.

Donnaizha Fountain scored 15 points for Temple, and Alliya Butts had 14.

NO. 3 NOTRE DAME 90, NO. 19 MIAMI 69

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Arike Ogunbowale had 18 points in Notre Dame's 17th straight win, and Brianna Turner scored 15 points and blocked six shots.

The Fighting Irish (24-1, 12-0) had little trouble while stretching their Atlantic Coast Conference win streak to 28 straight since they lost to the Hurricanes (21-5, 9-4) last season. It was the worst loss for Miami this season.

Emese Hof and Jessica Thomas led the Hurricanes with 12 points apiece. Adrienne Motley, who had a career-high 32 points on 13-of-19 shooting in the 78-63 win over Notre Dame last season, finished with eight points on 3-of-13 shooting.

NO. 5 MARYLAND 79, NORTHWESTERN 70

EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) - Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 27 points, powering Maryland to the road win.

Tierney Pfirman had 15 points for the Terrapins (23-3, 12-2 Big Ten), who never trailed in their 11th victory in their last 12 games. Brionna Jones scored 14 points.

Maryland shot 56 percent, compared to 34.3 percent for Northwestern.

Maggie Lyon had 25 points for the Wildcats (14-12, 3-11), who have dropped eight of nine. Nia Coffey had 15 points and 11 rebounds.

NO. 21 OKLAHOMA 74, NO. 6 TEXAS 56

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Vionese Pierre-Louis scored 17 points, leading Oklahoma to the win.

Kaylon Williams added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Sooners (17-7, 8-5 Big 12), who bounced back nicely from an 87-71 loss at Kansas State on Tuesday.

Brooke McCarty led Texas (22-2, 11-2) with 19 points. The Longhorns, who shot 50 percent in an 83-76 win over the Sooners in Austin, connected on just 29 percent (18 of 62) of their shots in the rematch.

Texas led 49-45 after three, but was outscored 29-7 in the final period.

NO. 7 OHIO STATE 77, PENN STATE 63

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Ameryst Alston made eight 3-pointers and finished with 26 points, leading Ohio State to its ninth straight win.

Kelsey Mitchell had 17 points for the Buckeyes (21-4, 13-1 Big Ten), and Alexa Hart had 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Lindsey Spann led Penn State (9-16, 4-10) with 21 points. Brianna Banks added 14.

Ohio State pulled down 41 rebounds to Penn State's 30 and scored 18 points off 16 Penn State turnovers.

NO. 8 OREGON STATE 72, UTAH 53

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Jamie Weisner tied career highs with 27 points and four steals as Oregon State built an early lead and cruised to the win.

Ruth Hamblin had 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for the Beavers (22-3, 13-1 Pac-12), who have won 12 in a row. Sydney Wiese added seven points and 10 assists.

Paige Crozon had 16 points and nine rebounds and Joeseta Fatuesi scored 13 points for the Utes (14-11, 6-8).

NO. 9 ARIZONA ST 63, NO. 13 STANFORD 61, OT

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Sophie Brunner hit a shot at the overtime buzzer to lift Arizona State.

Brunner scored the final four points of the game and finished with 14 to help the Sun Devils (22-4, 13-1 Pac-12) beat the Cardinal for the fourth straight time.

Katie Hempen added 12 points for Arizona State, which won for the 19th time in 20 games.

Erica McCall scored 22 points and Karlie Samuelson had 14 for the Cardinal (20-6, 10-4).

NO. 10 FLORIDA STATE 94, NORTH CAROLINA 63

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Adut Bulgak had 19 points and 14 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, powering Florida State to the victory.

The Seminoles (21-4, 11-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) had six players score in double figures in their biggest win against the Tar Heels. Their previous best was an 85-66 victory at North Carolina during the 1992-93 season.

Leticia Romero had 15 points and eight rebounds for Florida State. Emiah Bingley also scored 15.

Stephanie Watts led North Carolina (14-13, 4-8) with 19 points and nine rebounds.

NO. 14 UCLA 63, WASHINGTON 59

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jordin Canada scored 16 points for UCLA, including the clinching free throws with 2.3 seconds left. She also had seven rebounds, nine assists and six steals.

Monique Billings had 13 points and 13 rebounds for UCLA (19-6, 11-3 Pac-12), which has won three straight and eight of nine. Nirra Fields had 13 points.

Kelsey Plum finished with 32 points for the Huskies (17-8, 8-6), giving her 2,135 for her career. Talia Walton added 19 points.

AUBURN 80, NO. 16 FLORIDA 59

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Katie Frerking scored 11 of her 18 points in the fourth quarter and grabbed 10 rebounds in Auburn's fifth consecutive victory.

The Tigers (18-8, 8-5) moved past the Gators (19-6, 7-5) in the Southeastern Conference standings. The teams meet again in a regular-season finale Feb. 28.

Brandy Montgomery had 16 points for Auburn.

Ronni Williams scored 16 points for Florida, and Carlie Needles had 15.

NEBRASKA 73, NO. 17 MICHIGAN STATE 66

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Jessica Shepard scored 26 points, Natalie Romeo had 25 and Nebraska ended a 10-game losing streak against ranked teams.

Shepherd became the first Cornhuskers freshman to surpass 500 points, reaching 514. Romeo, a sophomore, hit five 3-pointers, the last giving her a school record 86 for the season.

Rachel Theriot had 12 assists for Nebraska (17-8, 8-6 Big Ten).

Aerial Powers had 19 points for the Spartans (18-7, 9-5).

NO. 18 KENTUCKY 71, VANDERBILT 55

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Kentucky's Alexis Jennings had 18 points and nine rebounds.

Janee Thompson added 15 points for the Wildcats (17-6, 6-6 Southeastern Conference).

Christa Reed had 17 points for the Commodores (15-10, 4-8), who committed 24 turnovers.

NO. 23 DEPAUL 102, BUTLER 63

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Chanise Jenkins had 17 points and 10 assists, and DePaul rolled to its fifth straight victory.

Jessica January also scored 17 points and Ashton Millender had 15 points for the Blue Demons (21-7, 13-2 Big East).

DePaul closed the second quarter with a 22-3 run to lead 45-25 at the half.

Blaire Langlois had 19 points for Butler (8-17, 3-11).
