Alleyne sets record as Oregon women top Utah 69-58

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Jillian Alleyne had 27 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and two blocks to lead Oregon to a 69-58 win over Utah on Friday night.

Alleyne recorded her school record 89th career double-double, moving past Bev Smith. She is now one short of tying Cheryl Taylor (Tennessee Tech, 1984-87) for second on the NCAA list.

Lexi Bando added 13 points for Oregon (18-6, 7-6 Pac-12), which lost its first five conference games.

Emily Potter made 10 of 13 shots and scored 23 points for the Utes (14-10, 6-7). Paige Crozon had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Utah led 18-15 at the end of the first quarter but the Ducks had a 20-6 scoring advantage in the second. Both teams shot 50 percent in the first quarter, a pace the Ducks matched in the second while the Utes were 3 of 13.

Utah was within four after a Potter 3-point play with 4 minutes left but missed its last four shots and had two turnovers.
