Old House New House this weekend at Pheasant Run

The Old House New House Home Show this weekend in St. Charles is expected to draw 10,000 visitors checking out hundreds of exhibits, plus speakers and workshops on decorating, kitchens, baths and landscaping.

"We have about 300 companies participating, everything from leading brands in the building trade, award-winning contractors, creative designers, talented craftsman and select tradesman," said show organizer Laura McNamara of Lisle-based Kennedy Productions. "They'll all be there with their expertise for homeowners to explore, discover and share ideas with."

The show opened Friday and continues 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Pheasant Run, 4051 E. Main St. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors, and free for those 18 and younger. A portion of ticket proceeds benefits Habitat for Humanity/ReStore of the Fox Valley.
