Utah promotes 3 on coaching staff

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah football coach Kyle Whittingham has promoted Pablo Cano, Robert Blechen and Alema Fitisemanu to new staff positions.
Whittingham announced the moves Thursday.
Cano is now the director of player personnel, replacing Fred Whittingham Jr., who was promoted to tight ends coach. Cano has served as assistant director of player personnel the last three years after being hired to the Utah staff in 2012.
Blechen replaces Cano after spending the last two seasons as a recruiting administrative assistant.
Fitisemanu holds the new position of director of high school relations. He spent last season, his first with Utah, as a recruiting administrative assistant.
