German police say death toll from train crash rises to 11
BERLIN (AP) - Police in southern Germany say the death toll from Tuesday's head-on train crash in Bavaria has risen to 11.
Bad Aibling police say a 47-year-old man from the Munich area died of his injuries in the hospital Thursday.
Police say 20 people were seriously injured, some of whom are in a grave condition.
A further 62 people suffered minor injuries in the crash some 60 kilometers (40 miles) southeast of Munich.
