Concerts and critters: 5 ideas for the weekend

<h3 class="breakHead">Groundhog days </h3>

While you will have to wait until next week to see what Woodstock Willie has to say about the start of spring, you can celebrate Groundhog Day and the locally shot "Groundhog Day" movie at events all weekend long in Woodstock. You can see the 1993 comedy, tour film sites, participate in family activities and more. See woodstockgroundhog.org for a complete schedule with locations and prices; many events are free. <h3 class="breakHead">Gone fishing</h3>

The Chicagoland Fishing Travel and Outdoor Show promises more than 100 exhibitors, most of the major fishing tackle manufacturers, local fishing retailers and almost 100 fishing boats this weekend at the Renaissance Convention Center Hotel, 1551 N. Siberian sled dogs are the stars of the Husky Heroes event this weekend at the Morton Arboretum, 4100 Illinois Route 53, Lisle.
