Arlington Heights man found dead outside home

Arlington Heights police are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive outside his home early Thursday.
Sgt. Alan Baumgartner said the man, whom the department declined to identify beyond saying that he was in his late 70s, was discovered around 5:45 a.m. outside his residence on Thorntree Terrace in Arlington Heights.
Baumgartner said the man was taken to Northwest Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Baumgartner said they do not suspect foul play at this time.
