Second City brings show to College of DuPage

"Hooking Up with The Second City" returns to College of DuPage in time for Valentine's Day.

The show will be performed at 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the McAninch Arts Center on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. Audience members can complete their date night experience by joining the cast for a champagne toast and chocolates in the lobby following each performance.

"Hooking Up with The Second City" makes mirth out of missed connections, girls' night out adventures and the crazy things people do for love. The revue, which contains mature language, is a modern mix of romance, rancor and everything in between.

The cast scheduled to perform at the MAC includes Pat Ivansek, Shantira Jackson, Eve Krueger, Carley Moseley, Dewayne Perkins and Tanner Tananbaum.

The design team for "Hooking Up with The Second City" is Anneliese Toft (director) and Adam Shenk (music director). Stage manager is Margot Momoi-Piehl.

The Second City has been producing cutting-edge satirical revues for more than 55 years. The company continues to launch the careers of comedy superstars. Former members include Bill Murray, John and Jim Belushi, Mike Myers, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ryan Stiles, Horatio Sanz, Tim Meadows, Joan Rivers, John Candy and Chris Farley.

Tickets for the Feb. 13 performances are $32 to $36. For tickets or information, call (630) 942-4000 or visit atthemac.org.
