19th Circuit seeks judicial applicants in Lake County

Applications are being accepted for associate judge in the 19th Judicial Circuit after the appointment of Christopher R. Stride to circuit judge. Stride replaced Judge John T. Phillips who has retired. Any U.S. citizen licensed to practice law in Illinois and a resident of the 19th Judicial Circuit may apply electronically by using the form at the Illinois Supreme Court's website at illinoiscourts.gov. If unable to apply electronically, an applicant must submit two signed originals of the application with Michael J. Tardy, director, Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, 3101 Old Jacksonville Road, Springfield, Illinois 62704-6488. Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 22. An application form can be obtained from the 19th Judicial Circuit's Chief Judge's Office, the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, or from the Illinois Supreme Court website.
