Sled hockey event Sunday in Lake Forest

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association will host the sixth annual "The Sleds Are Coming" at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse at Lake Forest College. Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged to support GLASA. The event brings campus and community exposure to GLASA and showcases its sled hockey program while raising funds for the GLASA Falcons Sled Hockey Team. Last year, more than 800 fans and volunteers supported the Falcons. The competition will consist of three 12-minute periods of 5-on-5 sled hockey featuring members of the GLASA Falcons. There will be raffle prizes, a silent auction and concessions.
