Grayslake museum hosts football program

The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum will host a special program Saturday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. exploring 50 years of football snacks, customs, great moments in the sport, special advertisements and more. “Fifty Years of Football, Fans, Food and Fun” is the perfect kick off for your own Super Bowl party, ahead of the 50th anniversary of the biggest game in football. The program will include an iconic recipes from each decade, and attendees are encouraged to share their own stories of customs, recipes and memories of big games long past. This program is held in support of the museum's new exhibition, “Food, Family & Tradition: Dining in Grayslake.” The museum is at 164 Hawley St., in downtown Grayslake.
