Author appearances: Sonali Dev discusses her novels at Cook Park Library

• Walter Reed, a Holocaust survivor and the author of "The Children of LaHille: Eluding Nazi Capture During World War II," discusses his book in a program beginning at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, 9603 Woods Drive, Skokie.
