Cold, snow could make evening commute a rough one

Snow has started falling in the suburbs, with about one inch expected to fall today, the National Weather Service is reporting.

Winds gusting to 30 mph might cause blowing and drifting snow overnight.

Temperatures this afternoon should reach the low 20s.

Temperatures tonight should be around 10 degrees, with windchills falling below zero.

Tuesday's forecast calls for highs around 13 degrees.
