Beach Park woman dies in crash
A Beach Park woman died Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Wadsworth, police said.
Teresita B. Mangaran, 66, was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla westbound on Wadsworth Road when her car struck the guardrail on the north side of the road, police said.
The car then crossed the eastbound lanes of traffic before hitting the guard rail on the south side of the road.
Mangaran was taken to Vista East Hospital where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning. The crash remains under investigation.
