Modern Luxury names group publisher

CHICAGO - Modern Luxury has named publishing executive Randy Hano as its new group publisher in Chicago.

Hano will lead the company's seven area portfolio of publications, including CS magazine, Men's Book Chicago, Modern Luxury Interiors Chicago, NS magazine, Modern Luxury Brides Chicago and Charity & Social Datebook.

Prior to joining Modern Luxury as associate publisher in September, Hano held senior roles within Chicago's media industry, including serving as publisher of Chicago Magazine, group publisher of Time Out Chicago and senior vice president of integrated sales at Wrapports, the parent company of Sun Times Media Group. In addition, Hano was previously the publisher and president of the award-winning Boston Magazine.

Hano is a graduate of the University of Arizona and lives in Winnetka with his wife and their two sons.
