Columnist right to support Obama

Thank you, Mr. Gene Lyons for your clearheaded column regarding the conservative right's blatant disregard for the truth when appraising the efforts of President Obama to protect the nation and rid the world of the Islamic terrorists.

I agree fully agree with my neighbors who say that peaceful Muslims must speak out against ISIS and their cohorts. However, I also caution my neighbors, who espouse the negativity spouted by Trump and Cruz that America, as President Obama pointed out, that we must take care not to alienate the majority of the Muslims, because they are needed to help rid the world of these terrorist thugs.

I also remind those who continually quote and adhere to the pronouncements of Fox News regarding President Obama's efforts that Fox News won a Florida court case in 2004 that stated, "Fox News has no legal obligation to be truthful in its reporting."
