Sign up for Palatine Library's Winter Reading Challenge December 21 through January 31

Palatine Library Winter Reading Challenge begins Monday, December 21 through Sunday, January 31. Will you accept the challenge? This year, all readers in the program are challenged to read and help the community! Together, when all participants read a total of 3,500 books, Palatine Bank & Trust will donate $1,000 to the POC. The POC is a non-for-profit community agency in Palatine that is dedicated to helping people help themselves through a variety of programs and services including education, health and wellness, advocacy, social services and more. For additional information, visit the POC online at www.POC.News.

Sign up and receive a registration prize-while supplies last! Sponsored by the Friends of Palatine Library. All valid District cardholders may participate in the Winter Reading Challenge with their own Library cards. Sign up is easy! District cardholders can visit www.palatinelibrary.org and manage their own reading progress, or come to any Library location and staff will sign you up and log your progress.

Look for weekly Winter Reading Challenge updates at the Main Library and at www.palatinelibrary.org to see how many books have been read. Upon finishing the Winter Reading Challenge, participants will be entered into a drawing by age category (child, teen, or adult) for a chance to win an amazing gift basket filled with incredible prizes, generously donated by Palatine area businesses.

The Palatine Public Library District (www.palatinelibrary.org) is your destination for knowledge, entertainment, and community. The Library serves approximately 90,000 residents predominantly within the communities of Palatine and Hoffman Estates.
