Images: Bears lose to Washington 24-21
The Chicago Bears lost another close game falling 24-21 to Washington at Soldier Field in Chicago as disappointed fans watch them lose in the closing moments.
For the second game in a row, Robbie Gould missed a field goal which would have helped keep the team in the game but Gould's 50-yard field goal attempt with 1:40 remaining was wide right.
The Bears scored late in the third quarter as running back Matt Forte scored on a seven-yard run for a TD that tied the score at 21-21, Washington then retook the lead on a 47-yard field goal by Dustin Hopkins to take a 24-21 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was 19-31 for 315 yards and 2 TD's while Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins was 24-31 with a TD and an interception.
