Grain lower, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 7.50 cents lower at $4.88 a bushel; March corn was 4.25 cents lower at $3.75 a bushel; March oats were 3.25 cents lower at $2.3420 a bushel; while January soybeans lost 6 cents at 8.7220 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork were mixed the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle was .98 cents lower at $1.2555 a pound; January feeder cattle was 1.00 cents lower at $1.5205 a pound; February lean hogs gained .95 cent to $.6018 a pound.
