Driver cited after Naperville crash injures man

A 32-year-old man has been cited for failure to yield while making a left turn after he was involved in a Tuesday night crash that sent another man to the hospital with serious injuries, Naperville police said.

An initial investigation determined the driver made a left in his Jeep in front of an oncoming Toyota driven by an 18-year-old man about 8:17 p.m. Tuesday at Ogden Avenue and Fort Hill Drive in Naperville. The younger man was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he remained Wednesday afternoon, but police said his condition had stabilized.

Police were not yet releasing either driver's name because their investigation is ongoing.
