Larkin's Kyles hits for 30 in win over Streamwood

Junior Marlee Kyles struck for 30 points Tuesday night to lead the Larkin girls basketball team to a 55-46 Upstate Eight River win over Streamwood.

Megan Chwee added 13 points for the Royals (3-4, 2-0), who led 33-27 at halftime.

Jenejha Williams led Streamwood (0-8, 0-2) with 27 points.

St. Edward 49, Glenbard South 46: In the Metro Suburban West, Madelyn Spagnola had 15 points and Yssa Sto. Domingo added 12 to lead the Green Wave (6-2, 2-1) to the win. Katelyn Castoro contributed 8 points for St. Edward.

Hampshire 53, CL Central 41: Emma Benoit had 19 points, Rachel Dumoulin 15 and Nikki Dumoulin 8 as the Whip-Purs (6-2, 2-0) won in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division.

Hoffman Estates 46, Jacobs 44: Emily Anderson led Jacobs (3-5) with 15 points and Teaghan Richman added 11 in nonconference action.

Aurora Christian 64, Alden-Hebron 27: Kirsten Madsen had 17 points and Emily Ward added 11 to lead the Eagles (5-3, 1-0) in the Northeastern Athletic Conference.

Batavia 78, Elgin 18: In the UEC River, Hannah Frazier had 15 points and Shea Bayram 10 to lead Batavia (7-1, 2-0). Kaley Lorenz added 8 points for the Bulldogs. Lakiya Harvey led Elgin (1-6, 0-2) with 7 points.

Burlington Central 67, Richmond-Burton 25: Kayla Ross scored 19 points and Shelby Holt added 17 as the Rockets (5-0, 1-0) won their 39th straight Big Northern East game. Holt is now 10 points shy of 1,000 for her career.

Rolling Meadows 68, South Elgin 53: Nadia Yang had 16 points to lead the Storm (4-2) in this nonconference loss. Emmy McIntosh and Mackie Kelleher each added 9 points for South Elgin.

ACC 56, IC Catholic 50: Taylor Harazin had 13 points and Sabrina Ganofsky 12 to lead the Chargers (4-2, 1-1) to a Metro Suburban West win. Ales Johnston added 10 points for Aurora Central.

Grant 40, Dundee-Crown 37: Allison Michalski had 11 points and Paige Gieske added 10 for Dundee-Crown (2-7) in this nonconference loss.
