Tenth Dems annual dinner

The Tenth Congressional District Democrats will hold its annual awards dinner Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Deerfield, 1750 Lake-Cook Road, Deerfield. The keynote speaker is David Yepsen. Once called the "King of the Iowa Caucuses" by The Washington Post, Yepsen is director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Yepsen was the chief political reporter for The Des Moines Register where he worked for 34 years. He has appeared frequently in political media, including on cable news and in The New York Times.
