'Cell Phones for Soldiers' seeks donations

The "Cell Phones for Soldiers" program will be collecting gently used phones at the Schaumburg Township District Library, at its Hanover Park and Hoffman Estates branches and at state Rep. Michelle Mussman's constituent office at 15 W. Weathersfield Way in Schaumburg.

The program is designed to collect used cellphones and sell them to be refurbished or recycled. The nonprofit organization then takes the proceeds to send prepaid international calling cards to troops and also to continue the Helping Heroes Home program.

For more information about the program, call Mussman's office at (847) 923-9104 or email StateRepMussman@gmail.com.
