Indian Trails Library board to hear updates on relocation plans

The Indian Trails Library District board of trustees Wednesday will hear bid results from moving companies for the library's temporary relocation while its building undergoes a $14.4 million expansion and renovation in 2016.

The board approved the temporary relocation plan in October, library Director Brian Shepard said.

While no decisions will be made Wednesday, Shepard said the board will hear from the four bidders and get an update on the relocation plan.

The temporary location is set for 70 West Dundee Road, and it will likely take about two weeks in April to move all of the library's operations.
