Authorities investigate Glen Ellyn-area house fire

Authorities are investigating a Sunday evening house fire in an unincorporated area near Glen Ellyn, according to the DuPage County sheriff's office.

The cause of the fire, which occurred on the 2N400 block of Euclid Avenue, has not been determined, sheriff's spokeswoman Dawn Domrose said in a news release. There were injuries as a result of the fire, she said, but the number of people injured, as well as the severity of their injuries, was not disclosed.

Fire crews from the Glenside Fire Protection District were at the scene, Domrose said.

The sheriff's office and the DuPage County Fire Investigation Task Force are investigating the fire.
