Vernon Hills High School holiday concert Dec. 15

The annual holiday concert at Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway, is scheduled Dec. 15. Attendees are asked to bring nonperishable food items to donate to the Lake County food pantry. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students. Show times are 6 and 8 p.m. in the school auditorium. The concert features performances by the Vernon Hills High School choirs, concert and philharmonic orchestras. The play list is to be determined but will include the "Hallelujah Chorus," "Sleigh Ride," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and many other selections.
