Baylor-TCU Preview Capsule

No. 7 Baylor (9-1, 6-1 Big 12, No. 7 CFP) at No. 15 TCU (9-2, 6-2, No. 19 CFP), 7:30 p.m. Friday (ESPN)

Line: Baylor by 1 1/2.

Series Record: Baylor leads 52-51-7.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Baylor could still win its third consecutive Big 12 title, and maybe get a playoff spot. The Bears have to win their last two games, and No. 5 Oklahoma has to lose Saturday at No. 9 Oklahoma State, where Baylor won last week. TCU is out of contention for another league title, but has a 12-game home winning streak since a 41-38 loss to the Bears in 2013.

KEY MATCHUP

Baylor's trio of big-play receivers - Corey Coleman, KD Cannon and Jay Lee - against the TCU secondary. Even with third-string QB Chris Johnson, the Bears will still be throwing deep vertical routes. Coleman, Cannon or Lee all have the potential to do what Oklahoma State sophomore James Washington did against the Frogs in their only loss, when he had five catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns of at least 48 yards.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Baylor: Johnson, expected to get his first career start, threw for 138 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the second half last week at Oklahoma after taking over for injured Jarrett Stidham. He also ran for 42 yards and a score.

TCU: Aaron Green has 1,100 yards rushing, and with eight more will have the most for a TCU running back since LaDainian Tomlinson led the nation with 2,158 yards in 2000.

FACTS & FIGURES
