Montana, South Dakota governors make wager on playoff game

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard and Montana Gov. Steve Bullock have a little extra riding on Saturday's Football Championship Subdivision playoff game between South Dakota State University and the University of Montana.

The Grizzlies (7-4) will host the Jackrabbits (8-3) at 1 p.m. Saturday in Missoula, Montana.

Daugaard has wagered a six-pack of Crow Peak beer and a pheasant dinner against Montana steaks and a six-pack of Montana microbrew put up by Bullock.

Daugaard says he feels good about SDSU's chances of defeating the Grizzlies. He says "victory is going to be delicious."

Bullock has equal confidence in the University of Montana. He says the Grizzlies will "chew up" the Jackrabbits.
