Exactly who are we, Mr. President?

President Obama has criticized those who oppose his plan to take in up to 100,000 Syrian "refugees" that critics say will be hard, if not impossible, to vet as to whether they are actually terrorists or terrorist sympathizers.

He says that is "not who we are." Well, Mr. President, exactly who are we? Are we the country that refuses to give the Ukraine the military assistance they need to resist invasion from the East? Or are we the country that helped overthrow the government of Libya and then did nothing to help stabilize the country?

Or are we the country that drew a "line in the sand" in Syria and then when it was crossed did nothing? Or are we the country that did not provide the requested security for our ambassador in Benghazi? Or are we the country that refuses to tackle the underlying problem of ISIS or ISIL by cutting off their source of money and weapons with sanctions or worse on those who are helping them? There is more, but really Mr. President, exactly who are we?
