Grain mostly lower, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was 6 cents lower at $4.88 a bushel; December corn was 1.25 cents lower at $3.5860 a bushel; December oats was .25 cent lower at $2.3460 a bushel; while January soybeans were 2 cents higher at 8.6140 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle was 33 cent higher at $1.2735 a pound; January feeder cattle was .88 cent higher at $1.6098 a pound; December lean hogs gained 2.15 cents to $.5395 a pound.
