Nature photography club at Volo Bog

ShutterBugs of Volo Bog, a nature photography club, will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Volo Bog State Natural Area on Brandenberg Road west of Route 12 between routes 120 and 134. The meeting is open to the public. The ShutterBugs of Volo Bog meet on the third Wednesday of each month and have loosened their competition requirements to include "hand of man" images. Participants share tips, learn how to improve images through camera skills, composition, field techniques and digital manipulation. Guest speakers, programs, and member competitions help photographers learn how to create impactful nature images. While membership is required to compete, nonmembers are always welcome to attend. Registration is not required and new members are welcome. Visit www.ShutterBugsofVoloBog.com.
