See Mrs. Roosevelt at Gurnee library
An Eleanor Roosevelt presentation is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Warren-Newport Public Library, 224 N. O'Plaine Road in Gurnee. She was the longest-serving first lady of the United States, holding the distinction from March 1933 to April 1945 during her husband President Franklin D. Roosevelt's four terms in office. Dramatist Leslie Goddard will portray Mrs. Roosevelt at the library's free program.
