Grain higher, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 2.50 cents higher at $4.9720 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent higher at $3.6120 a bushel; December oats were 1.25 cents higher at $2.36 a bushel; while January soybeans were 1.50 cent higher at 8.6220 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork mixed the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 1.38 cents higher at $1.3270 a pound; January feeder cattle was 1.23 cents higher at $1.6730 a pound; December lean hogs lost .33 cent to $.5585 a pound.
