Arlington Heights Park District wins disability awareness award

The Arlington Heights Park District has been recognized with the 2015 Disability Employment Awareness Award from the Arlington Heights Commission for Citizens with Disabilities.

This award celebrates employers who proactively hire and employ workers with disabilities because of their skills and abilities to do the job.

The goal of the award is to acknowledge and honor an Arlington Heights employer of people with disabilities. With this award the commission hopes to encourage all Arlington Heights businesses and agencies to hire and employ people with disabilities with the education and experience to do the job.
