Penn dominates Brown in 48-28 win

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Alek Torgersen threw three touchdown passes and ran in another score to lead Penn to a 48-28 win over Brown on Saturday.

Torgersen was 15 of 22 for 196 yards, including a 79-yard touchdown throw to Justin Watson to put the Quakers (4-3, 3-1 Ivy League) on the board and end a scoring drought stretching back to 2011 on Brown's home field. Tre Solomon also had a big game, running for two touchdowns and grabbing a 10-yard pass for a third.

Eric Fiore caught a 2-yard touchdown pass and Brian Schoenauer had 23 carries for 111 yards rushing and a TD to help Penn move into a second place tie with Dartmouth.

Brown (4-3, 2-2) scored first, getting a 7-yard touchdown run from Johnny Pena to cap the Bears' opening drive, but Penn then scored 41 unanswered points. Brown's Marcus Fuller threw for 323 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions.
