Raiders promote LB Korey Toomer from practice squad

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - The Oakland Raiders have signed promoted linebacker Korey Toomer from the practice squad..
The Raiders waived defensive end Shelby Harris on Saturday to make room on the active roster.
The Raiders are down a linebacker for Sunday's game against the New York Jets because of a knee injury to Neiron Ball. Toomer was signed to the practice squad on Tuesday.
Toomer was a fifth-round pick by Seattle in 2012 and has played eight games in his career for Dallas and St. Louis.
