Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 5 cents higher at $5.20 a bushel; December corn was 2 cents higher at $3.82 a bushel; December oats were .05 cent higher at $2.2740 a bushel; while November soybeans were 7.25 cents higher at 8.86 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .70 cent lower at $1.4210 a pound; November feeder cattle was .80 cent lower at $1.9113 a pound; December lean hogs gained .60 cent to $.6048 a pound.
