Two killed in Bolingbrook shooting identified

Two men pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting Monday in a Bolingbrook industrial park on Veterans Parkway have been identified by the Will County Coroner's office.

Lt. Carter Larry, spokesman for the Bolingbrook Police Department, said officers responded at 9:39 a.m. to a report of a shooting at the auto supply importer YCB International on the 600 block of Veteran's Parkway.

Three employees were present at the time of the shooting, Larry said, and two were unharmed.

Xinling Zhang, 39, of Naperville, died of multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at 12:20 p.m., coroner's officials said.

Degang Zhang, 48, of Aurora, died of a single gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at 12 p.m.

Police say a gun was found next to one of the victims but declined to release any further information about how the shooting occurred.

Four Bolingbrook schools were on a brief soft lockdown as police investigated, but the lockdown was lifted by early afternoon.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday for both of the deceased.
