Girls volleyball: Grayslake Central handles Hampshire

Allie Daul rang up 7 kills, 6 aces and 3 blocks, as Grayslake Central's girls volleyball team outlasted Hampshire 25-18, 21-25, 25-16 on Senior Night in its Fox Valley Conference Fox Division finale Thursday.

Marie Gerbasi slammed 11 kills for Grayslake Central (16-17, 6-5), while Morgan Anderberg had 20 digs. The Rams also received 3 blocks from Nicole Cave, 12 digs from Shermaine Maristella and 10 digs from Cesia Ronning.

"It was a great Senior Night win for us," Rams coach Jason Janczak said. "It was a total team effort."

Warren d. Deerfield: The Blue Devils won the nonconference match 25-12, 25-16, as Kim Hengesh and Jenna Walczak each had 7 kills.

Nicole Berzin dished out 13 assists for Warren, while Hengesh also served 2 aces. Claire Lundtveit and Natalie McNally added 5 kills apiece.
