Vernon Hills d. Lake Zurich: Thanks in part to a 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. 1 singles match by Olivia Jazbutis, Vernon Hills got a 4-3 win over Lake Zurich on Monday in girls tennis.
Lake Zurich's No. 1 doubles team of Brenna Casey and Sophia de los Reyes won their match, 6-2, 6-2.
New Trier d. Stevenson: New Trier got a 6-2 win over Stevenson.
One highlight for the Patriots was a win in the No. 1 doubles match. Vinaya Rao and Kate Harvey got a 6-4, 7-5 win.
Prairie Ridge d. Grayslake Central: Avra Reddy won the No. 3 singles match for Grayslake Central, which was edged by Prairie Ridge, 4-3. Reddy won her match 6-4, 6-4.
