Bail set for Naperville man accused of having more than 300 child porn videos

Bail was set at $250,000 for a Naperville man accused of possessing almost 350 pornographic online videos of children.

DuPage County State's Attorney Robert B. Berlin said bail was set Saturday for Ryan M. Gutierrez, 29, of Alta Vista Court.

Gutierrez faces one count of dissemination of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 26 before Judge Daniel Guerin. Additional conditions for Gutierrez should he be able to post bond include no contact with children and no computer or Internet access.

Gutierrez was arrested following an investigation that began in July, when the Naperville Police Department was looking into the sharing of child pornography files over the Internet.

Officers found nearly 350 videos involving child pornography on Gutierrez's computer, authorities said.

"The sheer number of videos containing child pornography allegedly possessed by Mr. Gutierrez is staggering," Berlin said.
