Shots fired in Arlington Heights; no one hit, hurt

Shots were fired by an unknown person Tuesday night on Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights, though no one was struck, police said.
The shooting, reported to police at 6:08 p.m., occurred near Algonquin and New Wilke roads on the village's southern border, confirmed police Cmdr. Michael Kearney.
No injuries were reported.
It was unclear whether the shots were intended for someone, and Kearney didn't say whether a suspect was in custody or provide a description.
