Donate and recycle unwanted items Saturday in Rosemont
Residents can donate and recycle unwanted items Saturday at an event hosted by the village of Rosemont and local businesses.
Items can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 9575 W. Higgins Road, to be collected by Abt Electronics, Salvation Army and USAgain.
Items that will be accepted include electronics, batteries, appliances, documents for shredding, clothing, shoes, linens, furniture and books. Organizers of the event will not accept hazardous waste, light bulbs, medical items, baby furniture, televisions, or television armoires.
