Waubonsee, Olivet Nazarene celebrate nursing partnership
SUGAR GROVE - Representatives from Olivet Nazarene University and Waubonsee Community College held a "Partnership Celebration" this week to honor the RN to BSN Program Articulation Agreement between the two institutions that was signed in spring 2015.
Suzette Murray, assistant vice president of Career/Technical Education, and Dr. Jess Toussaint, dean of Health Professions/Public Service, provided the welcome and introductions.
The agreement allows for a smooth transition for students transferring between the two institutions and maximizes allowable transfer of credit: Waubonsee students who complete the associate in applied science nursing degree can apply it seamlessly toward completion of the bachelor of science in nursing degree at Olivet Nazarene University.
