Boys soccer: Jacobs runs record to 6-0

Jacobs 7, Woodstock 1: The Golden Eagles improved to 6-0 after a commanding win over the Blue Streaks in Fox Valley Conference crossover action. Highlighted by Konrad Wasilewski's hat trick, Cris Guzman also notched 2 goals and both Noah Melick (1 assist) and Dan Kim each buried 1. Kurtis Preis turned in a hat trick of assists while Chris Rigby, Nick Voss and Michael Pasetes had 1 each. Ethan Pickering totaled 3 saves in net.

Huntley 2, Hampshire 1: Michael Zembrzuski scored the game-winner off a Jason Zobott assist with 5 minutes left in a dramatic FVC crossover road win to keep the Red Raiders (6-0-1) undefeated. Alessandro Vergara scored an unassisted goal while Andrew Fulcer made 2 saves in net.

Burlington Central 2, Genoa-Kingston 0: Jack Schramme and Enrique Garcia scored goals in each half to put the Rockets (4-1-1) at 3-0 in the Big Northern East. Cole Tecza and Mitchell Goose added assists while Ryan Fitzgerald managed 3 saves in net for the team's third-straight shutout.

Geneva 6, East Aurora 2: The Vikings (2-3-3) expanded on a 2-1 halftime lead with a 4-spot in the second half for an Upstate Eight crossover win. Matthew Waldoch netted 2 goals while Ivan Vilchis, Sean Geismann, Jack Cottrell and Michael Chahino all added goals. Keeper Jason Morales collected 4 saves.

Dundee-Crown 2, Grayslake North 0: The Chargers (6-1-1) received goals from Julian Ajroja and Andrew Janikowski in an FVC crossover win. Lisandro Gonzalez and Freddy Martinez accounted for both assisted and Luis Cruz got a shutout in goal thanks to 3 saves.

Cary-Grove 4, CL Central 0: Scott Wilde didn't score or register an assist, but his spark off the bench in the first half helped the Trojans (2-1-1) grab 4 goals in the second half of a FVC crossover win. Patrick Kingdon and Michael Arenberg each scored 2 goals while Luis Lemus, Oscar Silis and John O'Brien tallied assists. Keeper Trent Onopa finished with 3 saves for the shutout.

CL South 6, Woodstock North 0: Nikolas Getzinger netted 2 goals and 1 assist in a dominant win for the Gators (4-1-3). Andrew Grabowski booted 1 goal and 1 assist while Skyler Pentico, Ben Kassel and Carlos Merida found the net. Keenan Grissom, Michael Woeste, Ryan Coughlin and Zachary Schmidt each tallied assists and keeper Spencer Traub's 2 assist earned him his first shutout of the season.

Sycamore 1, Kaneland 0: The Knights (1-4-2) were shut out in Northern Illinois Big 12 action, as the Spartans scored a second-half goal to decide an East Division showdown.

Keith Country Day 4, Harvest Christian 2: For the first time in 7 tries the Lions (5-1-1) were handed a loss in Northeastern Athletic action. Rafa DeSouza had 1 goal and 1 assist while Cesar Velazquez also notched a goal.
