Lahr sets tone in Lakes' victory

Lakes d. Deerfield: McKenna Lahr pounded 10 kills and added 3 blocks, as the Eagles won 25-17, 25-12.
Katie Billetdeaux contributed 8 kills and 4 blocks, while Maddie Demo dished out 29 assists. Lakes also received 3 kills apiece from Megan Behrendt (9 digs) and Izzy Huntington.
Crystal Lake Central d. Wauconda: LeAnne Sakowicz had 9 kills, 8 assists and 7 digs for the visiting Bulldogs in their 25-22, 25-23 loss.
Ashley Anderson registered 10 digs for Wauconda (6-2), and Sara Sexton slammed 6 kills. Bulldogs setter Catie Petralia delivered 8 assists and 2 aces.
Dundee-Crown d. Grayslake Central: Sophomore Lauren LaBeck was 41-of-42 setting with 8 assists in the Rams' 25-11, 25-18 loss.
Allie Dail had 3 kills for Grayslake Central (3-3) in the Fox Valley crossover.
Leyden d. Vernon Hills: The Cougars lost the nonconference match 25-14, 25-13.
Antioch d. Woodlands Academy: On Tuesday night, the Sequoits rallied for a 23-25, 25-15, 25-13 win.
Kayla Vazquez had 17 digs for Antioch, while Candace Nelson recorded 7 kills and 12 digs, and served for 24 points.
Allison Gelander had 14 assists and 13 service points.
