Candidates should talk about regulation

I don't think the Republican presidential candidates or the established Republicans in Washington comprehend just how onerous and oppressive the government's laws and regulations are to the average individual, let alone to every small business.

With over 5 million laws and regulations affecting each individual, when will it end? Most of the regulations are coming from nonelected bureaucrats in "independent regulatory agencies" that have their own court system. I don't remember reading about these kinds of agencies or courts in the Constitution.

Here are the questions:

1) How many laws and regulations will you be repealing?

2) How many "independent regulatory agencies" will you eliminate?

3) Will you return the EPA to the original advisory agency it once was and remove its enforcement authority?

4) Will you refuse money from lobbyists that ask for favors outside the purview of the federal government as outlined in the constitution?

5) Will you take a pledge to stop crony lawmaking and adhere ONLY to the principles of the constitution?

All of the above affects not only every one of us, but all businesses - especially the small business. I am waiting for some journalist to ask these questions so we can all hear the answer.
