Scottie Pippen will be getting some help fulfilling his role as special adviser to president and COO Michael Reinsdorf. The Bulls announced plans to add Toni Kukoc in the same position.

Kukoc played for the Bulls from 1993-2000, playing on three championship teams. The native of Croatia has lived in the northern suburbs since retiring from the NBA in 2006.

"Toni will work across the organization and his duties will be wide-ranging," Reinsdorf said in a statement. "He will bring valuable perspective that comes with experience to many areas, whether it's relating to the international players on our team or sharing what it means to be a Chicago Bull when talking to partners and fans."

Preseason sked released:

The Bulls will open the 2015 preseason against last spring's first-round playoff opponent, Milwaukee, on Tue., Oct. 6 at the United Center. That's the first of four home preseason games. The Bulls will also host New Orleans on Oct. 12, Detroit on Oct. 14 and Indiana on Oct. 20.

The road games include Denver at Boulder, Colo., on Oct. 8, Minnesota in Winnipeg on Oct. 10, at Charlotte on Oct. 19 and Dallas in Lincoln, Neb., on Oct. 23.
